Mission Detroit

Who: Current 8th-12th grade students (23-24 school year)

Cost: $350 ($300 for the first 10 students)

Community Students is returning to Detroit in partnership with non-profit, Urban Arts. Our high school students will get the opportunity to serve the local community of Brightmoor throughout the week by hosting a Bible camp (similar to Community Church’s Vacation Bible School).

The camp includes games, crafts, Bible stories, songs, and dances! It will be a life-changing week for the students’ faith as they will be discipling elementary-aged kids. We get the opportunity to share the Gospel with people who may have never heard it before, and then help the students perform their songs and dances for their families and community at the end of the week.

Beyond the camp with Urban Arts, we will have sessions every evening where we dive deeper into the Bible, worship together, and break off into small groups. We will have excursions like go-carts, mini-golf, and more!

Cost is $350 ($300 for the first 10 students). The cost covers housing, transportation, food, and most excursions for the week. Spending money is optional for snacks or extras at excursions.

We will leave Sunday, July 14th in the afternoon and return around 10pm on Friday, July 19th.
