Community Students (CS) exists to lead students into a focused life with Jesus Christ.

At Community Students, our goal is to care for middle and high school students by providing a fun, safe, and engaging community where they can build lasting relationships, grow in their faith, and discover who God says they are and the purpose He has for them.

Community Students

CS Weekly Meetings

CS is for all 6th-12th graders, and we meet every Sunday from 6:00-8:00pm.

Each Sunday night includes an impactful message and worship, small group discussion, games, and hangout time. Middle School (6th-8th) and High School (9th-12th) will be rotating throughout our programming to have their own unique space, conversation, and time to build and thrive in community.

*We take a break from our weekly meetings during the summer months but summer events are planned to keep building the CS community!

Community Student Mornings

We now have a Middle School Sunday morning ministry! Community Student Mornings (CSM) launched September 2023 for all 6th-8th graders at our Mount Pleasant Campus. CSM takes place during all Sunday morning services in the Loft.

If you have any questions about CSM, contact Samantha Paisley, Middle Grades Coordinator, at samantha.paisley@communitymi.org.

We Love Parents

Here at Community Students, we fully believe that parents are the greatest influence on the spiritual development of their teens. As a result, it is our desire to partner with parents and provide them resources and opportunities for their students to encounter God in new and exciting ways.

As a parent, if you ever have a question about the ministry, an event, or series, please do not hesitate to contact Roman Rozell, Director of Student Ministries, at roman.rozell@communitymi.org.

Student Leadership Team

Students are not the church of tomorrow. They are a part of the church today. That’s why we have a student leadership team, called SALT. This team is comprised of students who have a strong desire to shape the ministry of CS to be more effective, engaging, and beneficial to themselves and their peers. If your student would like to join SALT, contact Roman Rozell, Director of Student Ministries, at roman.rozell@communitymi.org.

Community Students Leadership

At Community Students our desire is for students to find a welcoming community, knowledge of a God who loves them, and a practical foundation on how to live a Christian life. This cannot happen without a dedicated team of adults who are interested in building relationships with students and pointing them towards Christ.

We are always on the look out for incredible leaders looking to join our fun team with an incredible purpose. Joining the CS leadership team is a great opportunity to use your gifts and talents to care for students and give them a very real picture of God’s heart for their lives.
