We want to invite you to a special weekend designed to help individuals and families think wisely, faithfully, and practically about generosity and long-term legacy.

On March 13–15, 2026, we will host a Legacy & Generosity Weekend in partnership with MortarStone, offering a series of workshops and confidential personal conversations focused on stewardship, planning, and lasting Kingdom impact.

Weekend Workshops

Workshops will be offered across all Community Church campuses (offerings will vary by location). Topics include:

Tax-Smart Giving

Learn how certain life events and appreciated assets can become opportunities for generosity in ways that are thoughtful and financially wise.
Wills & Trusts

Explore practical steps for creating or updating an estate plan that provides for your family while reflecting your values and faith.
Raising Literate Heirs

Discover how to pass on more than resources—helping the next generation inherit wisdom, purpose, and generosity.

Optional 1:1 Conversations

In addition to the workshops, you are invited to schedule an optional 30-minute confidential conversation with Tim Deatrick, a former pastor of 35 years and a certified philanthropic advisor with MortarStone. Tim has helped thousands of individuals and families navigate questions around estate planning, non-cash giving, and spiritual legacy.

These conversations are:

Completely confidential
Free of charge
Not sales-oriented (no products or services will be offered)
Designed to support you alongside your existing professional advisors

Registration Information

There is no cost to attend, and there is no expectation to give. Registration is strongly encouraged to help us plan, but it is not required. The registration form includes specific workshop dates, times, and campus locations, as offerings vary by campus.
