Baptism At Community Church

Let’s Celebrate What God Is Doing!

If you’ve put your faith in Jesus and you’re thinking about being baptized, we couldn’t be more excited for you. Baptism is one of the most joyful moments in the life of a believer, and we’d love to celebrate it with you.

What Is Baptism?

The Bible tells us that baptism is the next step for every believer after salvation. It’s an outward expression of an inward change: a public way of saying, “Jesus has changed my life, I’ve put my faith in Him, and I want everyone to know I belong to Him.”

When you’re baptized, you’re declaring that you’ve left your old life behind and have been raised to new life in Christ. It’s also marks your identity as a child of God.

Baptism doesn’t save you. The water doesn’t save us. Jesus does. We are saved by putting our faith in Him. Baptism is how we say, “I’m not keeping this decision to myself.”

Every Baptism Tells a Story

Every person who steps into the water has a story, and every story reminds us that the Gospel is still changing lives today. When you’re baptized, you’re:

  • Making a public declaration of faith
  • Taking a step of obedience
  • Showing that God is still changing lives

Your story matters, and we want to hear it.
